Our client are a leading contractor working on a major water framework in the South. They have a long term role for a Innovation Manager who will be responsible for the leadership and strategic direction of the innovation arm of the business operation. As part of the Senior Management team this role will be responsible for stimulating an environment for innovation, promoting, and developing strong innovative solutions.
 
You will have come from a water sector background and have a strong knowledge of the UK water sector.
 
Responsibilities include:
·Responsible for managing the innovation process
·Develop strategies around innovation
·Client partnering to develop stronger relationships through implementation and delivery of innovative business ideas and processes
·Managing a dedicated budget for innovation
·Working closely with the clients senior management team and their dedicated innovation arm
·Chairing innovation Board Meetings
·Preparation of detailed proposals for innovation excellence, which will be jointly delivered to the client.
 
Skills and Experience:
·Batchelor or preferably master's degree qualified in an Engineering discipline
·A background of delivering business innovations from concept through to roll-out
·Significant Water/Wastewater experience
·A strong communicator with excellent presentation skills
·Organised and structured in your approach
