A fantastic opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer has arisen to work for a large food manufacturing company on the south coast in the Hampshire / West Sussex area.
Salary – £42,000 - £47,000 depending on experience + Great Package + Overtime.
Shifts – Panama Shift – 2 weeks days, 2 weeks nights
Location – Commutable from Portsmouth.
Skills and responsibilities – Maintenance Engineer
* Daily PPM and reactive maintenance on production equipment.
* FMCG / Food manufacturing experience is ideal, but other backgrounds are welcome.
* Multi-skilled maintenance strong electrical knowledge and experience.
* Experience in a similar role.
* Fault finding and work with control panels, safety circuits, washlines, conveyors, motors, pumps. General food processing equipment.
* Proactively identify and eliminate faults and implement long-term fixes.
* Improvement of assets, services, and maintenance practices.
* Good attitude and drive to improve production.
* Adherence to food and H&S standards.
* Communicate with stakeholders.
* Uphold and exceed product standards.
* Maintain shift paperwork, stock control, and budgets to high standards.
* Analytical problem-solving and numerical competency.
* Good written and verbal communication.
* IT literacy, use of computers and CMMS.
