Site Engineer

This is a great opportunity to join an exciting long term project in Reading - outside IR35 paying CIS

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage all on-site activities related to groundworks, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and safety standards.
Conduct site surveys, set out works, and provide technical guidance to the construction team.
Collaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project progression and resolve any technical issues.
Monitor progress, quality, and productivity, and implement corrective measures when necessary to ensure project milestones are met.
Maintain accurate records of site activities, materials used, and workforce productivity. Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
Proven experience as a Site Engineer on groundworks projects, with a strong understanding of construction methods and techniques.
Proficiency in surveying equipment and CAD software.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
