Job Title: SAP Cost Planner
Location: Reading -1 day per week/Up to 4 days from Home.
Rate: £500 - £550 per day - Umbrella PAYE/Inside IR35
Duration: 12-36 Months
Client: Major Utiltity Provider
Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Cost Planner to join a dynamic team in Reading. As an SAP Cost Planner, you will play a crucial role in optimising the financial performance by utilizing SAP's financial modules to effectively plan, allocate, and track costs within a large utility based organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
·Utilise SAP's financial modules to create and manage budgets for various projects and activities.
·Analyse costs and expenses to identify areas for optimization and cost-saving opportunities, ensuring compliance with UK financial regulations.
·Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial data and provide insights for decision-making.
·Conduct cost accounting activities to ensure accuracy and compliance with UK accounting standards.
·Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to track cost performance and support strategic planning.
·Provide support and training to users on SAP financial modules as needed.
·Maintain a strong cost breakdown schedule throughout the delivery period
Requirements:
·Proven experience working with SAP financial modules, including SAP Cost Centre Accounting, SAP Profitability Analysis, and SAP Project System.
·Prior experience in cost planning, cost accounting, or financial analysis is preferred.
·SAP certification or relevant training is a plus.
