Assistant Brand Manager – Bracknell (Hybrid) – Perm – c£25-28K plus bonus and benefits

We are looking for an experience Brand Manager to join a dynamic UK-based FMCG company in the Health and Beauty space, under the umbrella of a prominent international group. With a turnover of approximately £50 million, they have ambitious plans to double this in the next 3-5 years.

As an Assistant Brand Manager, you will support the Senior Brand Manager and the broader brand team in driving brand performance, developing new products, building brand awareness, and achieving commercial targets. This role involves working across all areas of the marketing mix and collaborating with internal teams and external agencies. You will be key to delivering exciting brand initiatives and managing the day-to-day administration of the brand, ensuring each day brings new and varied challenges.

Principal Accountabilities

- Lead and support the development of new product developments (NPD) to drive brand growth

- Identify key opportunities and develop initiatives

- Collaborate with Category and technical teams for process development

- Ensure adherence to the GATE process for project justification and execution

- Deliver key brand support activities including communications activation and brand development

- Create/approve creative briefs, packaging copy, and brand collateral

- Develop digital/social communications and measure activities against key KPIs

- Update brand activity trackers in line with budget and sales promotional plans

- Prepare monthly commercial and brand marketing reports, tracking metrics and KPIs

- Act as a hub for category information from market research, competitor analysis, EPOS analysis, and market insights

- Raise purchase orders and reconcile monthly brand spend

- Collaborate with UK & International Sales Teams to create sales campaigns, brand bibles, and marketing communication toolkits

- Support the Sales Team in producing high-standard brand presentations for key retailers and accompany the team on important brand presentations

- Manage sales team requests, providing imagery, brand information, and ensuring sample dispatch

Experience/Skills Required:

- A year of work experience in a marketing role is desirable.

- A business-related degree or equivalent work experience is desirable

- Proficiency in MS Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

- A full driving license is desirable

- Ability to travel in the UK and overseas
