Major Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Sales Executive, on a rolling 12-month contract, to join a multinational, automotive manufacturer based in Farnborough.

Location: Farnborough

Pay rate: £13.95ph - £16.97ph

Standard working hours: Monday - Friday 08:30am - 5pm

Duties & Responsibilities

Manage a portfolio of new and existing customers for their car and LCV quote to order requirements, utilising the relevant tools and business procedures, with the responsibility to adjust margins to win business.
LCV knowledge and expertise - responsibility of ensuring that complex quotations and orders for high-value LCVs are compiled accurately and fit for customer purpose.
Relationship management - the ability to build and develop strong external relationships with Preferred Dealer Network and LCV Supplier Network to ensure excellent service delivery to customers.
Responsible for the completion of complex Public Sector quotations and orders that are linked to key Public Sector Frameworks and therefore require the knowledge of key commercial conditions, working closely with the Public Sector Specialist.
Responsible for the set-up, maintenance, roll-out and regression testing of the Alphabet Connect system to the Corporate and International customer portfolio, also leading customer demonstrations where appropriate.
Knowledge of and ability to manage all renewals in accordance with Corporate & International customer car policies, through Alphabet renewal reporting and proactive outbound calling with a 'phone first' approach.

Candidate Specification

Proven experience and knowledge within a sales and customer service environment is essential.
Previous experience in the Automotive or Financial Services industry is desirable.
Computer literate with sound knowledge of all Microsoft Packages
Ability to communicate at all levels both internal and external.
Self-motivated but also able to work well in a team with a proactive nature.
Strong interpersonal and influencing skills.
Ability to work under pressure and multi-task.
High attention to detail and accuracy
Self-motivated, organised, and confident in taking the lead where required.
Sales through service attitude with proficient telephony skills
Able to self-manage and identify escalation points.
Ability to interact with a variety of people/departments at different levels.
Capable of positive negotiation
Ability to accurately handle and understand numerical data for quote to order process and reporting purposes.The ideal candidate will be an experienced Sales Executive, Business Development Manager, Sales Engineer, or Customer Success Manager.
