At LEGOLAND Windsor Resort our 2024 season is in full swing, and the fun is still building! We are recruiting for a Divisional Director to lead and drive our Resort to become the ultimate destination for families in the UK, leading by example to deliver exceptional guest experiences, year on year revenue growth and first-class team engagement.

The Divisional Director candidate will be a highly experienced leader, who will be responsible for executing the LEGOLAND strategy, being well versed in delivering budgeted financial targets. Working with the team around you and experts from across Merlin, you’ll ensure that LEGOLAND Windsor Resort is operating exceptionally to meet key performance measures. You will also have proven experience of leading large capex projects through all stages of development.

As the Divisional Director for LEGOLAND Windsor Resort, you will have plenty of stakeholders and existing relationships to manage, and you’ll be comfortable and confident with working alongside local communities, Council members, emergency services, board members and, much closer to home, your awesome LEGOLAND Windsor team!

Health and Safety is a top priority within our Resort Theme Park and Overnight Accommodations, and you’ll be a key driver in maintaining a safe working environment, ensuring our colleagues and guests have an amazing experience whilst on resort.

Qualifications & Experience

* Proven experience of progressive senior management (minimum 10 years)

* Experience with 24/7 operation with a track record in the direct leisure, hospitality or retail industries, with extensive and comprehensive P&L and capex responsibility

* You will have previously implemented successful strategic business plans, with a proven history of financial analysis and data driven solutions

* The successful candidate will be an excellent negotiator, influencer and communicator, with a natural ability to build appropriate and strategic partnerships within our industry and the local community

* A bachelor’s degree in business management or similar field is desirable

* A full UK driving licence is essential

* You will have a flexible approach to working hours, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays, and be comfortable with travelling locally, regionally and internationally as required by the wider Merlin leadership team

About the LEGOLAND® Windsor Resort

We are looking for a Divisional Director to join our AWESOME team at the UK’s favourite children’s theme park; the LEGOLAND® Windsor Resort. The LEGOLAND Windsor Resort is the ultimate destination for families with children age 2-12. The Resort is home to two awesome LEGO themed Hotels and a host of rides, shows and attractions built around the iconic LEGO® brick. This role is based at the Windsor theme park, located in 150 acres of beautiful parkland.
