Job Title: Senior Architectural Technician (Technical)
Location: Southampton
Salary: £34,000 – £43,000 DOE
Are you an experienced and detail oriented Senior Architectural Technician in the Southampton area looking for a new opportunity working on residential projects? Our client is expanding its Southampton based Technical team and wants to meet you!
Role Overview:
The ideal candidate for this position should possess a minimum of 5 years of UK-based experience working on residential or mixed-use projects for developer clients and national housebuilders. Sound knowledge of M4 (CAT 2 & 3) & NDSS and an understanding of building regulations and are essential. It would also be beneficial to have experience in AutoCAD however this is not a must have.
Key Duties:
* Interpret client briefs and the produce working drawings and technical documents while complying with the latest legislation.
* Assist with the delegation of projects to technicians and oversee timescales & quality control while liaising with clients and external parties.
* The role offers the opportunity to develop and gain wider experience and knowledge, with genuine opportunity to progress within the technical team.
