Learning Support Assistant

Experienced and calm Learning Support Assistant, required for a lovely Primary School in Hedge End. This is a 3 month temporary contract.

Full time, 8.30-3.00, Monday to Friday.

NVQ level 3 Teaching Assistant or equivalent experience will be desirable.

Responsibilities:

Working within a mainstream Primary school on a 1:1 basis with a Yr R pupil with SEND, the successful candidate will be empathetic, calm, and able to deal with difficult behaviour using de-escalation techniques, understanding when breaks are needed, and be able to connect with all pupils.

Requirements:

* Teaching Assistant qualification, NVQ Level-3 or equivalent

* A passion and understanding of post covid behaviours in children like anxiety, and some behaviour issues.

* Enhanced Level DBS
