We are recruiting for a forward-thinking business who, every year run a trainee / graduate programme to identify and develop talent who will take the business forward. The company make and install windows, doors, conservatories, orangeries and commercial glazing systems for companies, contractors, developers, and private individuals. This is not a “hard-sales” role but will involve following up on incoming enquiries and providing a consultative, design lead approach with the view to converting them into actual orders. A full training programme will be provided with a mix of classroom and on the job training and mentoring. These are permanent, full-time positions with a basic salary and the opportunity to earn more with successful orders.
The role:
* A successful commercial and residential Glazing Manufacturer & Installation Business have an exciting opportunity for a Trainee Sale’s Consultant to join their team.
* Location: Based at High Wycombe and working from their additional Showrooms in Welwyn Garden City or Ickenham as needed.
* Hours: 9am – 5pm for the first 3 months whilst in probation then 8.30am – 5.00pm, 30 min lunch break Monday to Friday. 1 Saturday per month on a rota basis once probation completed (with a day in lieu, the week after).
* Starting training salary of £23,920pa rising to £25,000pa after probation with a target bonus scheme.
The person:
* Own car and driving licence and willing to travel
* Be within a reasonable commute of High Wycombe (30 mins)
* Wants for a long-term career in Sales
* Good communication skills, both verbal and written
* Proficient with IT. Able to use design software (with training)
* Have a can-do attitude, proactive approach and be flexible
* Quick learner of new products and technical specification
* Motivated and passionate about customer service
* Can commit to an intense 6-8-week Training Programme
