Job Description:
As a Project Manager for Soil Treatment, you will be the driving force behind the planning, execution, and completion of soil treatment projects across the UK. You will oversee all aspects of the remediation process, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet all quality and regulatory standards. The role demands a combination of technical expertise, leadership, and project management skills.
Responsibilities:
* Lead the planning and implementation of soil treatment and remediation projects from inception to completion.
* Develop detailed project plans that outline key milestones, resources, budgets, and timelines.
* Coordinate with engineers, scientists, construction teams, and external contractors to ensure that all project elements progress seamlessly.
* Monitor project performance and implement necessary changes to meet predefined objectives.
* Manage project financials, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
* Maintain compliance with environmental regulations and legislation, ensuring all activities adhere to health and safety guidelines.
* Provide leadership and direction to project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
* Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies, maintaining excellent communication and relationships.
* Prepare comprehensive project reports and documentation for senior management and client review.
Qualifications:
- A HNC/ bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
* A minimum of 5 years of experience in soil treatment, soil remediation, or a related environmental field, with at least 3 years in a project management role.
* In-depth knowledge of soil treatment techniques, environmental regulations, and industry best practices.
* Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
* Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire project teams.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
* Proficient in project management software and tools.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously with meticulous attention to detail.
* A valid driver's license and willingness to travel to different project sites as required
