A fantastic opportunity for a Grinder role has arisen to work for a nationally recognised manufacturing organisation based in the Weymouth area.
Salary:
(£18 + great benefits)
Shifts:
Alternating Early/Late shifts:
(Monday – Thursday) 7am to 3:30pm
(Friday) 7am – 1pm

Skills required for the Job – Grinder role.
* Operating manual honing machines.
* Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
* Ability to check own work.
* Surface and cylindrical grinding which includes external and internal grinding.
* Grinding complex parts to tight tolerances
* Information regarding manufacturing processes is accurately recorded, well maintained accurately updated.
* The ability to maintain a tidy and safe environment to work.
* Use inspection equipment to check work thoroughly.
* Operating universal CNC grinding machines as well as universal manual machines.
Experience required:
* Very good attention to detail.
* Knowledge regarding J&S CNC grinding machines and Studer CNC grinding machines.
* Aerospace industry would be beneficial however not required.
* Experience working with engineering drawing and work to instructions for example job cards.
* Ability to programme and understand Fanuc controls.
* Level 3 engineering qualifications or equivalent (indentures accepted)
