Restaurant Manager

Exciting new Restaurant Manager position available in a luxury hotel near Falmouth.
We are looking for an experienced Restaurant Manager to support the Hotel Manager in delivering a high-quality experience that is guest focused and has a personal feel. If you enjoy delivering quality hospitality while coaching and mentoring a team to success, then you will be well suited to this role. Being organised with a strong commercial awareness alongside a passion for outstanding food and beverage will be key to truly shine.
The priorities of the role
* This is a Head of Department Role within the hotel and reports to the Hotel Manager
* You will have full accountability for the F&B department and will need to balance the hands-on nature with team coaching and KPI delivery to be successful.
* You will need to have the creative flair and drive to give the current business a competitive edge and to be able to fulfil your key role in the F&B transformation.
* To meet the needs of this demanding role you will need to be prepared to grow and embrace change in order to develop your team and yourself as the business grows.
Experience and Qualifications
Essential
* 1 year experience as a Restaurant Manager (2 year’s preferred)
* Experience of independent hotels or Restaurants
* Demonstrable experience of budget & KPI delivery
* Strong communication skills
* Employer loyalty
* PC Literate
Preferred:
* Experience of 4 & 5 star properties
* Multi-outlet Operational delivery at management level
* Ability to demonstrate a entrepreneurial background
* Formal hospitality qualification
* Wine & Cocktail knowledge
* Working knowledge of EPOS’s
