7.5t Driver

We are looking for a 7.5T Street Cleansing Driver to cover the Cotswold region.

About the 7.5t Driver role:

* Full time role (37 hours per week)

* Working 5 over 7 shift pattern. During the summer months (April to September) you will be working every weekend, with 2 days off in the week. Additional £40 per day for weekend working.

* Working hours are 5.30am-2pm

* Salary £25,119 - £25,979 per annum

* Based in South Cerney area

Duties & Responsibilities for the 7.5t Driver role:

* Carry out a wide range of street cleaning tasks within the Cotswold region

* Complete vehicle checks

* To comply with all transport legislations

* To work with other street cleaning crews and vehicles in a team to clear areas

* To empty, clean and correctly replace litter bins on an agreed emptying schedule

* To clean given areas to a specified standard removing all litter, animal droppings, leaf and twig fall, dirt and dust, loose chippings and other deposits, using a range of tools provided.

* To remove any reported fly –tipped waste

Qualifications / Skills / attributes required for the 7.5t Driver role:

* Full driving licence, which includes 7.5t entitlement

* Must have Driver CPC Qualification & Digital Tachograph Card

* Experience of driving 7.5t vehicles

* Be prepared to work outside in all weather conditions

* Be fit and able to lift heavy objects & be on your feet for a large part of the day

* Good interpersonal skills as you will be working with other colleagues and engaging with the general public

* Ability to use initiative and work with minimum supervision
