Quality Engineer

Job Description: We are looking for a Customer Quality Coordinator to join our team in Salisbury. This role is ideal for candidates interested in gaining experience in manufacturing and quality, particularly those with prior experience in a customer-facing quality or inspection role. The successful candidate will have a strong engineering understanding, excellent IT skills, and the ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
Responsibilities:
Corresponding with customers regarding non-conformities and documenting complaints
Initiating corrective action processes and involving relevant staff members
Conducting investigations on failures using 8D & 5Y methodologies
Entering non-conformance reports into the system and ensuring prompt resolution
Conducting product audits and inspections
Assisting the quality department with day-to-day activities
Utilizing software for data input and reporting
Requirements:
Strong engineering understanding, preferably with knowledge of electrical systems
Excellent IT skills, especially with Microsoft suite
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
Minimum qualifications: HNC Engineering or equivalent experience
Location: Salisbury, SP1 1HP Salary: £25,000 - £26,000 per annum
