About The Role
Support Worker - Marshfield, Cardiff - Hourly Rate £11.60 to £12.00 - Full Time 40.25 hours per week
 
The Old Vicarage provides a warm and welcoming home for up to 10 adults aged 18 and above.

Nestled in the tranquil rural setting of Marshfield near Newport, our residence offers a spacious and comfortable environment. Each room features an en-suite bathroom, and our residents have access to large communal areas, laundry facilities, and well-equipped kitchens. Outside, our beautifully maintained gardens provide plenty of outdoor space for relaxation and enjoyment
A day in the life of working at The Old Vicarage includes:

Ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met through a supportive and caring environment;
Support our people during recreational activities, outings and community integration;
Promote independence, self-esteem, and confidence in our people, celebrating their achievements and milestones;
Working together to ensure support is tailored to meet individual needs;
Keeping accurate records of all activities, progress, and incidents should they arise;
General housekeeping duties, including meal preparation;Sound good so far? We are looking for people who care and have:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships;

Flexibility to work on a shift basis, including weekends and occasional night shifts;
A driving licence isn't essential, but would be advantageous;Please note: This job role involves regulated activity with adults and requires an enhanced DBS with barred list check.
