Job Description

Job Title: Maintenance Engineer

Location: Bristol

Job Purpose

We are looking for a qualified Electrician to join our thriving Planned works in Plymouth. We cover the Devon area and specialise in delivering a variety of capital projects, including retrofit (energy efficiency measures), planned kitchen and bathroom upgrades and various part to full refurbishment projects primarily within the residential, education and private/commercial sectors.

The Electrician role:

Undertaking installation and maintenance work within the commercial sector and social housing domestic settings, covering the Devon and Cornwall areas.
Commercial work to include working with cable trays, armoured cable and trunking.
You will be working towards weekly productivity targets based on property completion
Demonstrating excellent customer service skills when working in a customer facing environment in occupied properties.

What will you bring as an Electrician?

Qualified to an NVQ 3 level as an Electrician, or similar professional body (e.g., City & Guilds), with an 18th Edition certificate, which is essential.
Qualified specifically with the Test and Inspect qualification is desirable, although not essential.
Ability to work professionally and considerately in a range of environments, including vulnerable tenant's homes within Social Housing settings.
Possession of a full current UK Driving licence, which is essential to undertake the Electrician role, with use of a company van and fuel card.
