Early Years Practitioner/Educator/Teacher | Bristol, BS6 | The successful candidate will work 4 days a week totalling 37 hours - Part-time candidates are welcome to apply | You will earn from £24,000 up to a teaching salary depending on qualification and experience

Pooh Corner Nursery and Preschool was founded in 1990. We are an independent Early Years Setting. We have three provisions Babies and Toddlers 06 – 24 months, 24 – 40 months and Preschool. We have flexibility to offer the right candidate a position in the most suitable provision according to your experience and preference.

With the two last consecutive cycles of inspection, we are Ofsted rating of “Outstanding”.

Are you the right person for the job?

The successful candidate must have at least Level 3 Early Year qualification or above and 2 years’ experience in a similar setting
Knowledgeable about human development in the first years of life, National Statutory documents, the EYFS and Birth to Five
Eligible to work in the UK
Currently resides within a commutable distance of Bristol
Professional and passionate in all that you do

What will your role look like?

The successful candidate will contribute to and support the development, learning and personal care of our children in the provision that is the most suitable according to their experience
You will contribute to the smooth running of the Provision and the maintenance of a safe and stimulating learning environment where our Ethos is the core of all professional practice
You will be a Key Person for a group of children and will use the company software to enter your observations regarding their development, activities and plan that supports children’s interests
You are expected to be proficient in using professional interaction techniques such as open-ended questions, Sustained Shared Thinking and High Scope Conflict Resolution
