Head Of Warehousing

Our FMCG client based in the Boston area are recruiting a Head of Warehousing on a full-time permanent basis. This is a brand-new role for the business due to a restructure due to significant company growth. This role will manage a team of 60 plus employees and be fully responsible for all goods in, picked and packed and then all goods out. The operation is 6 days per week 24/7.

Job Role: -

* Responsible for all warehouse operational departments/functions

* Management of a sizeable team

* Driving continuous improvement within those areas

* Maximise accuracy, productivity and space utilisation

* Ensure that training is ongoing

* Effectively manage the workload and manning levels within agreed overall costs

* Support the labour planning function with input into ensuring cost effectiveness along with operations requirements

* Focus on costs ensuring overspend and surplus costs are managed with scrutiny

In a nutshell this is a busy warehouse role where you will add value to the business. To be considered for this role you will have worked in a senior warehouse position and managed a sizeable team.

The role is Monday to Friday but occasionally you may want to see the operation at a weekend or an early/late start subject to business needs.

The company are offering an attractive salary plus 34 days holiday.
