SEN Teaching Assistant Information

Year 5 SEN Teaching Assistant - Bristol

Prospero Teaching are looking to recruit an experienced and driven Teaching Assistant to join an Ofsted accredited 'GOOD' Primary School in Bristol. The candidate will be providing 1:1 support for a student in Year 5 with Additional Needs.

A successful candidate will have experience working with KS2 pupils, and must be confident in supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis, inside and outside a classroom setting. A relevant qualification is preferred, along with some experience working with primary school age groups. Some safeguarding training is provided.

Minimum rate of pay - Minimum rate £90-£100 per day
Hours - 8:30 am - 3.30pmEXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

Teaching Assistant qualification or higher/equivalent is preferred
Previous experience working in a UK school or with children of a similar age
Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential as some training is provided)

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional child related referencesOTHER
