A top engineering and technology consultancy seeks a talented Senior Nuclear Systems Modelling Consultant to join their dynamic team. This role is pivotal in supporting clients' mission-critical design and safety decisions within the rapidly evolving new-nuclear sector.
What You'll Do
Develop and refine advanced nuclear systems models (using codes like RELAP, GOTHIC, etc.)
Analyze fault sequences and transients to ensure safe and optimized design
Provide expert insight on complex thermohydraulic phenomena
Guide and support model validation processesEssentials
Experience with nuclear systems codes (RELAP, GOTHIC, CATHARE, TRACE, VIPRE, S5K, etc.)
Robust understanding of thermal hydraulics and multiphase flows
Relevant degree in Engineering, Physics, Applied Mathematics, or equivalent experience
Ability to manage projects independently and communicate effectively with clientsStand Out with These
Coding skills (Python, MATLAB, etc.)
Project leadership experience
