Manpower has partnered with a company in Oxfordshire that provides global support, servicing, spares and upgrades for all aircraft refuelling applications. They carry out on site servicing, repairs & calibration of all refuelling equipment across the UK and Ireland for commercial and private airfields. They are currently recruiting for a Electrical Workshop Engineer in join a successful team. This role would particularly suit candidates from a plant engineering background, ex-forces, HGV or similar. The successful candidate will be required to complete a medical and confined space training to facilitate tank entry inspection and cleaning. This role would particularly suit candidates from a plant engineering background, ex-forces, HGV or similar. You will also be required to complete a yearly medical assessment.

Your main duties will include

To wire components on bespoke aircraft refuelling vehicles.
Assemble electrical/pneumatic components onto bespoke panels.
Test all work to a set standard.
Diagnose faults.
Occasional site work may be required as per needs of the business.Experience

Candidates should ideally have experience with vehicle electrics (Ideally HGV), but any electrical background may be considered.
Experience with aircraft refuelling vehicles would be extremely beneficial but not essential.
Ability to use a wide range of electrical hand tools (crimpers, soldering Iron, wire strippers etc.)
Ability to use a wide range of hand and power tools (drills, grinders, riveting etc.)
Interpretation of electrical schematics.
Basic soldering skills.
Be able to maintain a satisfactory level of tidiness.
Basic level of H&S understanding.
Fluent in English.
Driving licence/car.
Experience in pneumatics.
