Electrician

TXM Recruit are currently looking for multiple Electricians in/around the Bristol area to cover an expanding Facilities Management company's South West patch, working solely on their industrial projects conducting all aspects of electrical installations for their BT contract.
The ideal Electrician will be based in/around Bristol as this role requires local travel with very occasional overnight stays. The base salary for this Electrician role is 38k-40k but with overtime options (x1.5 pay for Monday – Saturday and x2.0 pay for Sundays and bank holidays) there is the opportunity to earn more.
The Electrician’s duties include –
* Installing electrical systems and relevant equipment on industrial projects
* Following the specific SOR’S issued and drawings.
* Able to demonstrate a proven track record with (post apprenticeship) experience of project installation work.
* Install and modify electrical components and systems to include 1st fix containment, 2nd fix installations, power & lighting. To be able to carry out all testing and inspection to enable the completion of certification.
* Assist the Project Manager / Supervisor with the required information to enable the compilation of estimates / quotations as required.
* Confident in installing trays, ladders, conduits etc. as per construction drawings.
* Must be willing to undertake company standard internal training workshops and complete all mandatory training.
* To provide information on progress of the project as per Project Programme & to follow RAMS.
* Adherence to all current company procedures.
* Ensuring continuous improvement and drive for value for money.

The ideal Electrician will have –
* City & Guilds 2360 Part 1 & 2 or equivalent NVQ
* 18th Edition
* City &Guilds 2391-10 Inspection & Testing
* Post apprenticeship experience in electrical installation of LV distribution systems
* Multi skilled background with knowledge/experience in High Voltage systems (this is beneficial but not essential)
* Experienced in standby power systems – prime movers and UPS
* Understanding of A/C systems
* Excellent communication skills
* Full UK Driving License
