We are working with a Manufacturer who are looking for an Operations Director to join their site based in Preston.
Responsibilities/The Candidate
A strong Engineering and Manufacturing Background, with experience of managing and leading on Engineering, logistics, raw materials, production, and overtime budget responsibility.
Experience within an FMCG background and environment.
A driven and self-motivated individual.
Ensuring Health & Safety, Quality and Environmental legal and associated accreditation compliance.
Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall performance.
Embracing and implement lean manufacturing techniques and principles of continuous improvement and six sigma techniques.
Experience in managing a budget and cost control.
Coordinate with key internal and external production stakeholders.
Strong communication skills to other departments and within the senior leadership team.The Salary
