Our partner is seeking a talented Senior Systems Engineer- Telecommunications to join their Tactical Communications and Information Systems (TacCIS) team.
As a Senior Systems Engineer – Telecommunications you will collaborate and lead on exciting, challenging projects at the forefront of the industry. This role is a full-time position with a hybrid working-from-home arrangement of 2 days per week.
Key Responsibilities for the Senior Systems Engineer – Telecommunications:
Leverage your expertise to support projects and programs within the TacCIS team.
Collaborate with clients and working groups to define operational concepts and user needs.
Gather, analyse, manage, justify, and break down requirements for effective project execution.
Manage interfaces and trade-offs between systems, subsystems, functions, and requirements to ensure seamless integration.
Apply best practices in systems engineering and critical thinking to develop innovative solutions.
Create and deliver clear, concise technical documentation and participate in reviews to ensure accuracy.Key Skills & Experience Required for the Senior Systems Engineer – Telecommunications:
Extensive, demonstrably successful experience in Telecommunications Engineering, encompassing trials, demonstrations, and deployments.
Proven track record in Radio Networking Engineering within defence and/or commercial telecommunications systems.
Adept at requirements capture, derivation, and management.
Experience applying Systems Engineering methodologies like the Requirements and Acceptance V-Model, ITEAP, and Engineering Lifecycle Management.
