About the Role

The Paraplanner assesses client requirements, conducts research, identifies, and presents solutions to support Adviser recommendations. They conduct financial analysis, produce reports and recommendations, and ensure compliance with all regulatory standards.

Role & Responsibilities 

Support financial advisors in crafting client financial plans by researching and preparing documentation.
Collect client financial details to aid in the planning process, covering income, expenses, assets, liabilities, and risk tolerance.
Research investment products and insurance policies to find suitable options, analysing performance, risk, and tax implications.
Develop financial models to illustrate potential outcomes for clients' plans.
Prepare recommendations and presentations outlining suitable strategies based on client goals.
Ensure compliance with regulations and company policies in all planning activities.
Assist in client communication and handle administrative tasks.
Stay updated on industry regulations, market trends, and tax laws.
Collaborate with team members to deliver comprehensive financial services.Skills, Knowledge and Experience

Understanding financial planning principles, covering investment strategies, retirement and estate planning, tax considerations, and risk management.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements like FCA regulations.
Ability to analyse complex financial data, investment products, and client situations for informed decisions.
Attention to detail vital for accurate and compliant financial plans, reports, and documentation.
Proficiency in financial planning software, spreadsheets, and relevant tools for analysis and modelling.
Effective written and verbal communication skills for client and team interaction.
Building and maintaining positive client relationships, focusing on needs and providing excellent service.
Collaboration with advisors and team members to deliver comprehensive financial solutions.
Possession of relevant professional qualifications such as DipFP or CII Certificate in Paraplanning.
Previous experience in financial services preferred, but entry-level roles available for qualified candidates.
Commitment to ongoing professional development through training and certifications.
