Working for our client, you'd be amongst the first people that our patients interact with on clinic visits and their welcoming, friendly, and empathetic approach. You will become an integral part of our clinic team, facilitating an important stage of the patient journey taking patients through a range of diagnostic tests before passing them on to a senior clinician. You'll be taught how to use a variety of different equipment and systems as well as learning about the anatomy of the eye and the conditions we treat. The thought of eye surgery can be a daunting prospect for patients to deal with. If you have the ability to put patients at ease, have strong communication skills, and are able to explain clearly and effectively what the different tests are for so that patients understand their treatment, then you are a great fit for the role.

This is a fantastic opportunity to progress your skills within a clinic setting, or take the first step on a clinical career path. The client is committed to the growth and development of all our colleagues and being an Ophthalmic Diagnostic Assistant is a great platform to potentially explore a career in diagnostic (clinic) or theatre.
