As an experienced Scrub Nurse, you’ve probably become used to sacrificing your home life for the job you love. What you'll be doing
You’ll be a vital part of a professional, friendly and compassionate team supported by our experienced Theatre Manager. Our focus at all times is on ensuring patient safety and that they receive the highest standard of care. You’ll be responsible for ensuring the continual cleanliness of the theatre and equipment. You will be competent in all aspects of scrub/circulating technique and procedures. Finally, you will act as an advocate for the patient in the intra-operative phase and be responsible for ‘total patient’ care in the perioperative phase.

What we’ll look for in you
A Registered NMC Nurse with experience of being a scrub practitioner in a theatre, or an HCPC registered Operating Department Practitioner, with:
Knowledge and experience of working with an orthopaedic team will be key in this role
Are fully up to date with current research and developments in theatre practise
Have a sound knowledge of Health and Safety/Risk management within the operating departmentWhat you can expect in return
