We are currently recruiting for Support Workers at a Day Centre for Adults with autism and learning disabilities in Mill Hill. Working hours are Mon-Fri 9.30am-3.30pm. Pay is £11-12ph and a free lunch is provided each day.
This role is a temporary to permanent role so you will work for 20 weeks on a weekly pay timesheet basis and then if successful transfer over to our client on a permanent basis, where you will be paid an annual salary on a monthly basis.
The day centre offers a varied timetable of activities to all of their service users in small groups.
Activities include:
Bowling
Gym
Beach Trips
Cooking
Arts and Crafts
Walks
Swimming
Karaoke
Friday Discos
Movie Sessions
Puppet Shows
Drumming Sessions
Yoga
Sensory Activities
Communication Sessions
Outreach
Exercise Sessions
Music Sessions
You must be able to work ever day Monday to Friday 09.30-15.30.
Very good public transport links to Hertfordshire - 12 minutes from St Albans train station, 3 minutes from Borehamwood & Elstree train station. 1 bus from Hatfield - either 644 or 614.
