Exeter office/hybrid split

£23,000 with scope to increase salary

Baker Snell Recruitment are working with a growing, award-winning Exeter based employer who are currently seeking highly motivated and customer-focused individuals to join their expanding Customer Services team.

As a Customer Service Specialist, you will be the first point of contact for their external customers providing a first-class service during each interaction. You will play a crucial role in supporting the company's goals and strategies by delivering excellent customer service, understanding their products and processes, and ensuring an exceptional level of service to their valued customers.

Key Responsibilities:

· Provide front line support through telephone and associated written communication

· Handle new and unusual situations, keeping the needs and expectations of customers in mind – taking things in your stride

· Undertake reviews, clarification of terms and conditions and customer retention activities

· Maintain a close and excellent working relationship with all areas of the business to provide a seamless service to external contacts

· Undertake training to develop skills and stay up to date with relevant knowledge

You will:

· Be enthusiastic and motivated to do a good job

· Possess excellent listening skills with attention to detail

· Have strong organisation and prioritisation skills

· Demonstrate effective communication skills, both oral and written, especially in handling difficult situations

· Excel in building relationships and providing high levels of customer service

· Be adaptable and open to change

Experience:

· Confident dealing with people and empathising with customers' needs

· Previous experience delivering excellent results within a customer service environment – open on previous sector

· Computer literate and familiar with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
