Project Coordinator
A leading Maritime company due to growth are looking to expand the team further.
An opportunity has arisen for a new Project Co-ordinator to assist in the reporting, monitoring, and analytics of a variety of existing and future projects across its Maritime portfolio.
Role:
As Project Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of our projects. Reporting to the Managing Director and Technical Lead, you will be responsible for coordinating project activities, managing resources, and monitoring progress to deliver exceptional results. Your organisational and communication skills will be instrumental in driving project milestones and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders.
Offering a flat organisational structure with employees all owning their respective applications. The successful applicant will therefore need to possess excellent communication skills as well as a suitable technical understanding to be able to work with individual software engineers across the spectrum of projects and disciplines.
Ideally, the applicant will possess prior experience as a Project Coordinator or APM having held a similar role before.
Responsibilities:
* Active management and maintenance of the company “JIRA” project management platform.
* To work alongside the company Technical Lead in defining requirements and priorities.
* Coordinate project activities, ensuring timely execution and adherence to project schedules.
* Monitor project progress, identifying potential risks and developing mitigation strategies.
* Facilitate effective communication between team members and stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, milestones, and risks.
* Assist in developing project plans, and resource allocation strategy.
* Conduct regular meetings and follow-up discussions to track project deliverables and address any issues or concerns.
* Assist in managing project documentation, including project plans, progress reports, and client deliverables.
* Foster a collaborative and positive work environment, promoting teamwork and knowledge sharing.
Essential experience:
Strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills and an ability to work in a team environment.
Experience in dealing with stakeholders across several projects and tight deadlines.
Desirable Experience:
Must be detail-oriented and organised and be able to handle a variety of tasks in an efficient manner.
Other Considerations:
The role may require the candidate to be security cleared up to SC level
