Quantity Surveyor - Highways

We are currently seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join our Civils and Construction contractor to be based near Devon. The role comes with a salary up to £46,000.
Responsibilities for Quantity Surveyor
Responsible for all Commercial aspects of projects.
Provide support to the tendering process.
Liaise with clients, senior staff and PQS (Principal Quality Surveyor)
Manage, support, and provide development to the Commercial Team.
Anticipate changes with the project.
Prepare the project procurement schedule.
Ensure materials are delivered and ready on site.
Work with the supply chain team to ensure cost and quality are maintained.
Deliver timely and accurate reports.
Planning and management of own work and the Commercial Team.
Identify, manage, reduce, and drive out unnecessary costs.
Make sure projects budgets and deadlines are met.
Prepare work packages.
Requirements for Quantity Surveyor
Maintain a high level of Commercial and Technical knowledge.
Detailed knowledge of financial reporting
Highways/Civils background
Experience in budget management.
