The Sales & Export Coordinator will build and maintain strong relationships with international clients. Address customer inquiries, resolve issues, and provide product information, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. Oversee the end-to-end export process, including order processing, documentation, customs compliance, and shipping logistics. Collaborate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.

The role will play a pivotal part in creating a more cohesive Operations function whilst simultaneously enhancing the ‘customer-experience’ externally.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Will offer a proven ability to provide support to the Customer Service Experience aspects within a contract manufacturing organisation, the individual will also need to be capable of supporting the development of a high performance culture.

Manage the day to day activities of the Sales Order Processing function for export customers.

Represent the customer through the accurate exchange of information between sales and the operations functions.

Ensure that delivery documentation is accurate, complete and complies with relevant regulatory requirements.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with freight and shipping partners to ensure that customer delivery commitments are met.

Must offer experience in working across multiple internal departments (Design, Quality, Supply Chain, Manufacturing etc.) and be experienced in the external Customer interface.

To demonstrate influencing and ambassadorial abilities, accordingly.

Will offer evidence of their ability to adapt to a new environment and show prowess in quickly understanding the relevant key drivers.

Will possess important personal qualities that should encompass robustness, resilience, enthusiasm, excellent communication skills and ambition.

QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS

Qualifications

A high school diploma or equivalent is typically required. Additional education, such as an associate or bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field.

* Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with customers and internal teams. Excellent listener, capable of identifying real needs.

* Customer Focus: A customer-centric approach, with the ability to understand and meet customer needs. Commercially astute.

* Team Collaboration: Ability to collaborate with sales teams, as well as other departments such as production, logistics, and finance. Display infectious enthusiasm which drives performance of teams.

* Problem Solving: Creative planner, ensuring obstacles are identified and suitably mitigated. Strong problem-solving skills to address customer issues and inquiries effectively.

* Time Management: Effective time management skills to handle multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities. Remains calm under pressure and filters that pressure to positively affect individual performance

* Computer Proficiency: Proficiency in using office software (e.g., Microsoft Office) and familiarity with Dynamics 365 systems.

* Attention to Detail: High attention to detail to ensure accuracy in order processing and documentation.

* Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changes and work in a fast-paced environment.

Knowledge

* Product/Service Knowledge: Understanding the products or services offered by the company is crucial for effective communication with customers.

* Sales Processes: Familiarity with sales processes, order processing, and customer relationship management (ERP) systems.

Experience

* Sales Support: Previous experience in a sales support or administrative role is beneficial.

* Customer Service: Experience in customer service, handling inquiries, and addressing customer needs.

* Administrative Skills: Strong administrative and organizational skills, including data entry and record-keeping.
