Academics are currently recruiting for a Welsh Medium Teaching Assistant (TA) to work full-time in a Welsh Medium Primary School in Ystrad Mynach, Caerphilly.
About the role:
Position: Welsh Medium Teaching Assistant
Pay: £80 - £90 per day
Start Date: 19th of February 2024
End Date: July 2024
Hours: Mon to Fri (8:30am - 3:30pm)
Location: Ystrad Mynach
Duties & Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be expected to work full-time in a Reception Class until the end of the academic year. Your duties and responsibilities as a Teaching Assistant will include:
Supporting the Teacher in general daily classroom activities
Assisting the children on 1:1 basis, or in small groups with tasks set by the teacher.
The preparation and provision of learning materials
Organisation and tidying of the classroom
What's needed to be considered for this position?
Fluency in the Welsh Language
Previous experience working within a Primary School setting is desired
Obtain an Enhanced DBS Check
Registration with the EWC
Be available to work full-time in Ystrad Mynach from the 19/02/2024
