About The Role
Bank Support Worker, £11.50 per hour 
 
Location: Across our homes in the Pembrokeshire Area - Tenby, Pembroke Dock, Haverfordwest & Saundersfoot

We’re a leading organisation dedicated to provide exceptional care and support to children and adults with complex needs associated with autism. 
 
Across the Pembrokeshire area we have six different homes located in different areas; Lydstep, Haverfordwest, Pembroke Dock & Saundersfoot which are all in their own beautiful unique settings. With homes a stones throw away from beaches and the dock, to homes nestled within the town area where busy bustling streets are waiting to be explored! Everyday brings a chance for a new adventure.

A day in the life of working as a Support Worker includes:

Ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met through a supportive and caring environment;
Support our people during recreational activities, outings and community integration;
Promote independence, self-esteem, and confidence in our people, celebrating their achievements and milestones;
Working together to ensure support is tailored to meet individual needs;
Keeping accurate records of all activities, progress, and incidents should they arise;
General housekeeping duties, including meal preparation;

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships;
Resilience and patience when faced with challenges, adapting to individual needs;
A willingness to learn and follow guidance from the team;
Basic IT skills for record keeping and communication purposesA driving licence isn't essential, but would be advantageous
 
Please note: This job role involves regulated activity with adults and requires an enhanced DBS with barred list check.
