Job Title: Health & Safety Advisor
Location: Port Talbot
Salary: £33,000 - £38,000 per annum, plus attractive benefits
Our manufacturing client based in Port Talbot is currently seeking a proactive and experienced Health & Safety Advisor to oversee the Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) strategy at their manufacturing site.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement the HSE strategy in line with company policies and legal requirements.
Conduct risk assessments and ensure appropriate control measures are in place to mitigate hazards.
Provide guidance and support to management and staff on HSE matters.
Lead incident investigations and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
Monitor and review HSE performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing initiatives to enhance safety culture.
Liaise with regulatory bodies and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with HSE legislation and standards.
Deliver HSE training and inductions to employees as required.Requirements:
Previous experience in a similar HSE role, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of HSE legislation and best practices.
NEBOSH or equivalent HSE qualification is desirable.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
