Are you a skilled MIG Welder with a background in heavy steel fabrication, and ideally, experience in nuclear environments? We are currently recruiting for our industry-leading client in Risca, offering GENUINE permanent positions with highly competitive PAYE pay rates.
Key Details:
Shifts: Day Shift and Second Shift (newly introduced)
Day Shift Pay (7am – 3pm) Pay Rates:
£16.38ph (PAYE)
£32,367 Basic per annum
Second Shift (3pm - 11pm) Pay Rates:
£21.84ph (PAYE)
£42,588 Basic per annum
Overtime: Up to £32.76ph available on both shifts
Responsibilities as a MIG Welder:
Welding structural steel items on varying grades and thicknesses
Perform MIG/MAG downhand, fillet, and butt full and part penetration joints
Welding in downhand and positional welds
Interpret and work from engineering drawings
Ideal Candidate Profile:
Time served or apprentice trained in welding.
Shop floor trained with significant experience in heavy steel fabrication.
Previous welding experience in a structural or heavy steel environment, ideally with exposure to nuclear projects.
Ability to work from engineering drawings.
