Deliver and promote the 4 elements of the Children and Young People's Service.
Work with the charity and it's voluntary and statutory service partners.
Oversee the youth groups, along side the service manager.
Cover the North Wales area (office in Bangor).
Work with young people and families to identify what support is appropriate.
Organise and supervise other youth workers.
Meet at the Bangor office with occasional trips (twice a year) to South Wales.
Travel around to each of the youth groups to provide support to the teams.What do you need?

Ideally, you'll have at least 2 years of experience in Youth Work or Youth Support.
An excellent understanding of youth work principles.
Experienced in working with adopted young people, or a similar professional background (care leavers, youth support work etc.)
Hold a Youth & Communities (or similar) qualification - This is not essential.
Access to a vehicle and happy with regular travel across the North Wales region.
A live enhanced DBS on the update service (adults and children) would be really helpful.
