Senior Credit Controller

Elevation Accountancy & Finance are excited to be working with a large, friendly & down to earth business in the Barnsley area, as they look to recruit a progressive Credit Controller into their team on a full time, permanent basis.
We are looking for an experienced credit controller to join a growing team on a full-time basis. This is a fantastic role in a fast-paced environment where you can really get stuck into the duties and have full autonomy of your role, while acting as the senior within the team. There are plenty of opportunities for progression and development within this team and you will be given all the support and tools you need to be successful in your career.

Salary: Competitive + monthly bonus (up to £300 per month!) + study support 
Type: Mon-Fri 37.5 hours (flexible), permanent – with part office working and part working from home – you can also work flexi time as long as you are in the office for core hours and accrue extra holidays days (initial training period will be office based)
Key Duties & Responsibilities of the Credit Controller will include:

Controlling the collection of Key and non-Key accounts
Creating customers’ applications for payment within Excel
Chasing payment from Accounts Departments as well as Surveyors
Customer visits
Cash allocation
Credit checks
Reconciliation of accounts
Collating paperwork for customer visits
Logging, resolving and clearing queries
Liaising with internal departments
Dealing with customers over the phone
Resolving complex pricing issues
General queries
Key Skills & Experience required:

Experience of Credit Control 
Experience in using spreadsheets
Strong communication skills
Strong organisational skills
A keen eye for detail as accuracy is important
A positive and flexible attitude
