Our client based in the Canton area of Cardiff is seeking a permanent Administrative Officer to oversee the smooth operation of administrative function. The ideal candidate will possess a range of skills to ensure efficient and effective administration support.

Requirements:

Proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Friendly, confident, and customer-focused attitude
Professional telephone manner

Responsibilities:

Prepare accurate and presentable documents
Maintain precise records of financial transactions
Manage telephone inquiries and reception duties
Handle faxing requests and manage stationary supplies
Maintain staff files and documentation in compliance with regulations
Assist with duty rota preparation and staff management tasks
Engage with relatives and friends of residents in planning and changes
Assist with staff recruitment, training, and discipline
Ensure staff compliance with background checks
Manage cleaning material orders and stock control
Maintain comprehensive home diary and documentation systems
