Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor
Location: Cardiff, South Wales.
Salary / Benefits £24k - £38k + Training + Benefits
Our client is an industry leading provider of asbestos management services, providing the full range of management services across Commercial, Industrial, Social Housing and Healthcare sites. They are now looking to take on an Asbestos Surveyor. Covering contracts across South Wales, you will be carrying out asbestos surveys in line with client requirements, gathering information to produce comprehensive reports and ensuring work is carried out in line with HSG 264 guidelines. Our client is a multidisciplined environmental company therefore can offer cross training into other environmental sector, excellent holiday allowance, company pension scheme and company vehicle.
Consideration will be given to candidates from: Newport, Barry, Bridgend, Caerphilly, Monmouth, Gloucester, Cheltenham, Stroud, Cirencester, Swindon, Chippenham, Malbrough, Devizes, Warminster, Bath, Bristol, Andover, Sailsbury, Shepton Mallet, Shaftesbury, Weston-super-Mare, Minehead, Bridgewater, Ilminster, Taunton.
Experience & Qualifications:
" Holding the BOHS P402 qualification is essential to the tole.
" Will have hands on experience working with a UKAS accredited company working as a surveyor.
" IT literate, able to use TEAMS / TRACKER.
" Well versed in HSG 264 guidelines.
" Able to communicate with colleagues and clients efficiently.
The Role:
" Conducting management, refurbishment, and demolition surveys on a mixed portfolio of sites.
" Carrying out re-inspection surveys upon completion of work.
" Ensuring to adhere to HSG 264 guidelines.
" Producing detailed reports upon completion of work, ensuring to return to clients in a timely manner.
" Carrying out re-inspection surveys upon completion of work.
" Carrying out sampling of suspected ACMs.
" Bagging and labelling ACM samples correctly prior to sending for analysis.
