NCS are currently looking for a Site Engineer with PTS to start on a brand-new project in Cardiff. The project is due to run for 12 months. This position can be either perm or freelance.
The successful candidate will need to meet the following criteria:
· Experience setting out on Civil Engineering projects.
· Sound knowledge of construction methods, health and safety, and legal regulations
· Fully conversant with the use of robotic total station or EDM instruments
· Degree qualified in civil engineering or HNC or equivalent in civil engineering as a minimum.
· Excellent communication skills
· Self-driven, results oriented with a positive outlook.
· Must have a valid Sentinel number with PTS.
Purpose of the Role
Setting out on site
Engineering control
Working with sub-contractors and overseeing their work.
QA documentation
Materials take offs
Preparation of materials for the project
