Registered Nurse - Mental Health Low Secure Rehabilitation
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a newly qualified preceptorship nurse Mental Health Nurse ( RMN ) or Learning Disability Nurse ( RNLD ) Either Full or Part Time. Located in Pontypridd, this is a Specialist Hospital for adults with Mental-ill Health and Service users are cared for in one of Four units depending on their unique needs. The salary on offer is up to £37500 per annum and is negotiable. We can offer both full and part time roles subject to preference

Service Type: SpecialistMental Health Rehabilitation Services for Males and Females in a low secure environment
Salary:  £37500 rising to £39,520 on completion of preceptorship 
Hours: Full Time and Part Time hours are available - you can choose depending on your preference
Shifts: ideally mixed shifts though flexibility can be provided

Further Details
The service Located in countryside close to Cardiff, offers up to 47 beds across four single-gender units. Providing care, treatment and rehabilitation for males and females age 18- 65 in a low secure environment meeting the following criteria

-           Adults with severe and enduring mental illness requiring a low secure environment

-           Male and female mentally disordered offenders requiring a low secure  environment

-           Women with personality disorders

By providing patients with relationship and life skills, alongside resilience and coping strategies, The Hospital promote the emotional stability which can provide the sound foundation needed to make a successful move back into the community.

Preceptorship nurses: In the case of newly qualified nurses ( Mental Health Nurse , Learning Disability Nurse ), the service offers a fantastic preceptorship programme. They have a good number of experienced staff to support and mentor newly qualified nurses.

Training / Induction and opportunities for development and progression: The Service offers a structured and thorough 2 week induction programme, which will include various training courses. You will also have access to clear and structured development programmes where you can see clear pathways to progression within the company. Training and development is one of the major ethos' of the company. There are no limits to training and development as the service will fund any training course you would like to do that is relevant to your job role.
