Our client is currently seeking an experienced Conveyancing Paralegal to join their Taunton office due to expansion. This office-based role requires adept management of a busy workload and the ability to thrive under pressure.

Conveyancing Paralegal Responsibilities:

Providing support to members of the Residential Conveyancing Department, including those working remotely, utilising winscribe digital dictation.
Assisting in the progression of conveyancing transactions, including exchanging contracts, preparing legal documents, dealing with completion statements, raising invoices, and completing forms online.
Managing a busy workload with confidence and initiative.
Assisting with Reception cover during lunchtime and absences.
Providing secretarial support to residential conveyancing lawyers.
Taking a proactive approach to meet departmental needs.

Conveyancing Paralegal Requirements:

You will ideally have a law degree or equivalent qualification.
You will have previous experience in a conveyancing paralegal role.
You will have strong organisational and administrative skills.
You will have effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
You will be able to work well under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
You will have a proactive and positive attitude towards work.
You will be competent in Microsoft Word and other Office applications.
