Introduction

Reporting to the Marketing Director, the Head of Coms will play an integral role in delivering communications strategy and services for Dandara Living, across the Development, Construction and Management divisions of the business, and work closely with external partners.

What you will do

Marketing Communications – B2B and B2C

Working closely with the Marketing Director to implement Dandara Living’s communications strategy across all markets.
Managing external PR and social campaigns for pipeline sites from acquisition through to planning, lease-up and disposal (as required), including:

Management f social channels: inbound engagement; content creation; scheduling, analysis, and reporting
Drafting cmmunications and blog posts as necessary.
Management f official DLML Facebook Groups and ‘red flag’ reporting
Assistance with running and mnitoring the DLML resident portal.

Reporting on campaign outcomes and making recommendations for enhancements.
Managing consumer review platforms (e.g. Homeviews, Google etc), providing feedback to operational teams and identifying potential PR opportunities because of positive feedback/results.
Providing support with awards submissions.
Set-up and management of any new communications channels.

Internal Communications

Co-ordinate with internal stakeholders and the marketing team to produce the bi-annual staff newsletter.
Create blog content for The Hub and ad-hoc business updates e.g. ‘From the Chairman’ emails.
Support internal departments with communications requirements.

Brand Standards

Brand guardianship and tone of voice across all internal and external communications channels (including any external agencies).
Work with the HR team to produce appropriate communications guidelines and support with associated training.
Provide communication guides/templates for site-based, operational and customer relations teams.
Provide recommendations to the senior leadership team on improvements, training and development needs which may be required.

DLML Operational Communications

Regular QA reviews of operational customer comms to ensure brand standards are maintained.
Supervise resident comms to ensure quality, consistency, and on-brand.
Manage communications on any resident app or similar platform(s)
Support CX/events programme to ensure quality, consistency, and on-brand.

What you will have

Degree in a relevant marketing communications subject or equivalent professional qualification.
Minimum 3 – 5 years in a similar role in the BTR, property development or construction sectors with a good understanding of how the media / journalists operate.
Good knowledge of the industry and PR/comms landscape.
Proven track record in the implementation and delivery of successful communications strategies and the creation of innovative communications campaigns. (Experience in crisis comms is preferred but not essential).
Strong organisational skills, able to effectively prioritise and work under pressure.
Excellent communication skills; written, spoken and presentational, attention to detail and excellent use of grammar to tailor effective communications for various stakeholder audiences.
Strong analytical and reporting skills.
Previous experience in mentoring, managing and developing high-performance teams.
Experience with Sprout Social is essential, and Adobe Design Suite preferred.

£50-55,000 depending on experience
