ROLE: CLINICAL DEPUTY MANAGER - Nursing Home - RGN / RMN
SALARY: £21.95/hour
LOCATION: TREDEGAR, SOUTH WALES
HOURS: 37.5 hours / week

You will be the Clinical Deputy Manager for a dynamic & exciting Nursing Home with state-of-the-art facilities, and your role is to ensure the smooth and effective running of the Nursing Home to deliver specialist care and nursing services to the residents; to assist the Home Manager in providing high-quality nursing and care support to place the individual at the centre of everything and based on the core values of Wellness, Happiness and Kindness.
The service is a 25 bed specialist facility for adults with enduring mental health and complex needs. this is a unique and rare opportunity to work in this environment. The service has qualified RMNs, trained OT to provide effective rehabilitation packages of care.
Working a combination of supernumerary shifts and as a nurse on the floor.

Your Role and Duties:
* To assist the Service Manager in providing leadership to staff in order to deliver the highest possible quality of care within a safe working and living environment.
* To co-ordinate and lead the nursing team to provide high quality, person centred care and support in way which promotes: dignity; privacy; safety and independence and which promotes equality & diversity for everyone living and working in the Service.
* To comply with all regulatory and legislative requirements at all times.
* To ensure the smooth and effective running of the Nursing units within the home and liaise with external health professionals.
* To provide Clinical Leadership and supervision within the Service
* Essential Requirements
* Nurse Qualified with Valid NMC - RGN or RMN
* Previous experience as a Senior Nurse, Clinical Lead or Deputy Nurse Manager
* Experience of working in a Mental Health setting - Essential
* Caring and Compassionate
* Embraces Leading by Example and acting as a role model
