Our client seeks an Area Manager to oversee a cluster of care homes in South West Wales, ensuring exceptional service delivery and operational efficiency.

As an Area Manager, you'll provide leadership and guidance to Home Managers, fostering a culture of accountability and success across all care homes. Your role will involve driving operational excellence, motivating staff, and ensuring alignment with the company's objectives. You'll work to embed a culture of compassionate leadership, creating a safe learning environment for everyone involved.

Your responsibilities extend to monitoring performance, ensuring compliance, and identifying areas for improvement, implementing action plans as needed. Financial management forms a crucial aspect, requiring you to maximise income while effectively managing budgets. Additionally, you'll oversee staff training and development, ensuring roles and responsibilities are executed efficiently in each home.

A critical aspect of this role involves implementing company policies, nurturing a culture of continuous improvement, and upholding high standards across all care homes. Establishing positive relationships with stakeholders is key, fostering effective collaboration for collective success.

Requirements: The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 5 years' experience in health and social care, with a proven track record in managing large teams and budgets effectively. Demonstrated experience in business development, managing significant changes, and proficiency in stakeholder management are highly desirable. Strong communication skills, particularly in conveying complex messages clearly, are essential for success in this role.
