Our client is an international manufacturer and distributor of specialist products. They have a large operation in the Cardiff area, with a fantastic work environment. The warehouse and offices are conveniently located, with lots of public transport links and free parking on site.
This is a permanent opportunity, generated due to business growth.
The successful candidate will be working Monday-Thursday 08:00-16:30 and 08:00-13:00 on a Friday, so an early finish every weekend is a fantastic bonus. In addition, there is an opportunity for a Christmas bonus based on company performance.
The duties of this role include:
To ensure products are manufactured to correct specifications and quality is not compromised.
To anticipate and prepare for shortfalls and correct these.
To organise available production workforce efficiently.
To monitor daily records to measure performance and make changes where necessary.
To maintain discipline and standards within the production environment.The successful candidate will need strong production experience, supervisory or managerial experience, administrative skills, good numeracy skills and be IT literate.
A basic salary of £30,000-£35,600 and 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays is on offer, as well as working for an established business with a great reputation.
