Contract Automated Tester - TypeScript/React (Medical Devices) ISO13458 IEC 62304 UK Remote Role

Our client is a leading player in the medical device industry, dedicated to developing innovative solutions that enhance patient care and healthcare efficiency. They are currently seeking a Contract Automated Tester specializing in TypeScript/React to contribute to their Software as a Medical Device (SaMD) projects.

We are looking for a skilled Contract Automated Tester with expertise in TypeScript/React to join our client's team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, functionality, and regulatory compliance of their medical device software products. This is an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated individual who thrives in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

**Responsibilities:**
- Develop and execute automated test scripts for SaMD applications using TypeScript/React.
- Collaborate closely with development teams to integrate automated testing into the CI/CD pipeline.
- Conduct comprehensive testing of medical device software functionalities to ensure compliance with ISO13458 and IEC 62304 standards.
- Identify and report software defects, working closely with developers to resolve issues.
- Maintain and update automated test suites to reflect changes in software requirements and features.
- Participate in peer reviews and contribute to enhancing testing processes and methodologies.
- Document test procedures, results, and compliance evidence for regulatory submissions.

**Requirements:**
- Proven experience as an Automated Tester.
- Strong proficiency in test automation frameworks such as Cypress, Cucumber, and playwright or any other automation tools
- Familiarity with ISO13458 and IEC 62304 standards for medical device software development.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams.
- Experience in the healthcare or medical device industry is highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality results within tight deadlines.

**Preferred Qualifications:**
- Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) is a plus.
- Experience working with Software as a Medical Device (SaMD) products.
- Knowledge of other programming languages and technologies commonly used in medical device software development.
