Field Service Engineer

Adecco are currently recruiting for a Field Service Engineer to cover Cheltenham/South Wales and surround areas for an organisation with a head office based in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire. Job title: Field Service Engineer
Salary: £35k - £45k (dependant on engineering grade)
Location: Cheltenham/South Wales + surrounding areas (this is a remote role so driving will be required to get to various client locations)
Hours: 8am - 4:30pm (overtime available if wanted)

Key Responsibilities:
The job will require a person who has the ability to install, commission, service and fault find on company and other manufacturers equipment to meet customer specification
- Take responsibility for the Service and Maintenance of Site based Systems
- Assistance leading to responsibility for (occasional build), install and commission of Water Systems
- Responsibility for the timely production of Service Reports
- Site Surveys / System specifications / fault Finding & Breakdown Responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of Van Stocks and Company property
- Working to various standards including ISO9001 & ISO14001
- Excellent adherence to Health and Safety Practices

Systems include: Reverse Osmosis, De-ionisers, Water Softeners, Filters and UV Filtration, and associated chemicals and consumables.
**Some travel to and from Northamptonshire will be required to attend head office for company training**
Candidate expectations:
- Skilled engineer
- City & Guilds or equivalent qualification within engineering, electrical or mechanical subjects
- Willing to upskill within the engineering grades to progress
- Good communicator; ensuring reports are accurately given in writing and verbally
- Prioritise and plan effectively
- Working to high standards with excellent attention to detail; working to instructions, designs and specifications
